OmniPsyche ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit omnipsyche.org (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.

This Site is educational and informational in nature. It does not provide clinical counseling services and does not create a counselor-client or therapist-patient relationship. If and when the Site begins to offer clinical services or scheduling, this policy will be updated to reflect those changes.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you provide to us directly, and information gathered automatically as you browse.

Information you provide directly. When you choose to take the attachment style quiz or otherwise submit information to us, we collect:

  • Your email address, which you provide so we can send your quiz results and related educational emails.

  • Your name, if you choose to provide it.

  • Your quiz responses, meaning the answers you select when completing the attachment style quiz, and the result generated from those answers.

You provide this information voluntarily. The quiz is an educational tool, not a clinical assessment, diagnosis, or therapy. Your responses are self-reported reflections about relationship patterns and are not a medical or mental health record.

Information collected automatically. As you browse the Site, we automatically collect:

  • Usage data: pages you view, time spent on those pages, the referring website, the exit website, and actions you take on the Site.

  • Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, language preferences, and approximate geographic location (usually city or region, derived from IP).

  • Cookies and similar technologies: small text files placed on your device that help the Site function and help us understand how visitors use it. See Section 3.

  • Embedded content data: when a page contains embedded YouTube videos, YouTube and Google may collect data about your interaction with that content according to their own privacy practices.

We do not ask for and do not knowingly collect government identifiers, financial account numbers, or clinical health records through this Site.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the information above to:

  • Deliver your attachment style quiz results to you.

  • Send you educational emails, including a welcome series and occasional updates, when you have opted in by completing the quiz or signing up. You can unsubscribe at any time (see Section 6).

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site.

  • Understand which content is most useful to visitors.

  • Analyze general traffic and usage patterns.

  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues.

  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies set by us and by third-party services. These include:

  • Essential cookies that enable the Site to function properly (provided by Wix, our website platform).

  • Analytics cookies used by Wix's built-in analytics and by Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors interact with the Site.

  • Embedded media cookies set by YouTube when videos load on a page.

  • Advertising and marketing cookies that may be set by third-party services such as Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google Ads, or similar tools, to measure performance and support any future advertising or remarketing.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the Site may not function properly without them.

4. Third-Party Services

The Site relies on the following third-party services that may collect or process information about you:

  • Wix.com Ltd. hosts the Site and provides built-in analytics. See Wix's Privacy Policy.

  • Google LLC provides Google Analytics and may provide advertising-related services. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics through the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

  • YouTube (Google LLC) serves embedded videos. See Google's Privacy Policy.

  • [EMAIL / MARKETING PROVIDER NAME] processes the email address and quiz information you submit, and delivers your quiz results and educational emails. See their privacy policy at [LINK].

  • Other advertising or analytics partners, when applicable, such as Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook) and Google Ads, may collect information through pixels or tags placed on the Site.

These third parties operate under their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Site and deliver our emails (for example, Wix, Google, and our email provider) under their own privacy terms.

  • To comply with applicable laws, legal processes, or governmental requests.

  • To protect our rights, the safety of users, or the integrity of the Site.

  • In connection with a merger, sale, or other business transaction, where the recipient will be required to honor this policy.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.

Email and marketing choices (all visitors). Every educational or marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, and you can also contact us at the email in Section 12 to be removed from our list or to request deletion of the information you submitted through the quiz.

For visitors in the European Union, United Kingdom, and similar jurisdictions (GDPR-style rights). You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you; to restrict or object to certain processing; to request data portability; to withdraw consent for processing based on consent; and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For California residents (CCPA / CPRA). You have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and how it is used; to request deletion of personal information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information); and to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.

For all visitors. You can manage cookies through your browser, opt out of Google Analytics through the link above, and contact us at the email in Section 12 to exercise any of the rights described in this section.

7. Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The quiz and email sign-up are intended for adults. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. International Data Transfers

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., be aware that information collected through the Site may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We keep the email address and quiz information you submit for as long as you remain subscribed, and we delete it after you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to any legal retention requirements. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of our analytics providers (typically 14 to 26 months for Google Analytics).

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information collected through the Site. However, no online transmission is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify visitors more prominently. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
