For Licensed Counselors
Therapy homework for the week, software for the session.
Two things built for clinical practice: free interactive therapy homework your clients will actually complete, and session software that drafts your progress notes (DAP, SOAP, or BIRP), analyzes every session through seven clinical frameworks, and keeps the thread between appointments.
Pick exercises โ copy one link or QR โ client completes work on their device โ they send a progress checklist and/or full answers (or bring downloads to session). You never need an account; they choose what to share.
Free client homework
Homework that actually gets done
Between-session homework is one of the most reliable predictors of treatment outcome, and one of the hardest things to get clients to follow through on. Paper worksheets get lost. Apps demand accounts and subscriptions. These exercises remove every excuse.
Assign in one link
Send a link to any exercise, or bundle several: the plan builder turns your chosen exercises, with a note per item, into a single link or a printable QR handout. It opens on any device and starts immediately. No login, no app to install, no cost, ever.
Guided, not blank
Each exercise walks the client step by step: guided CBT thought records with distortion checking, behavioral activation, worry postponement, choice theory work (quality world, basic needs, total behavior), and evidence-informed assessments.
Nothing is collected
Client answers never touch a server; this site stores none of them. Progress auto-saves in the client's own browser with a visible toggle. No PHI, no accounts, no data trail. Opening their plan link on your device will not show their checkmarks or answers.
Results return when they share
When they finish an exercise, they can tap Send to therapist (their email or share sheet) or Download your copy for a full summary. On the plan page they can send a progress checklist (done / still open). You review what they choose to send or bring to session.

Build a whole homework plan in two minutes
Pick the exercises, add a note per item, and hand your client everything as one link or a printed QR handout. The plan lives inside the link itself: nothing stored, no accounts on either side, no PHI anywhere. Tell them to use the plan’s share buttons and each exercise’s Send to therapist when they want you to see progress.
Also includes guided meditation tracks (anxiety, sleep, self-compassion, focus, walking, breathing, anger) that link straight into the free NOTICE app, plus addiction recovery tools.
The Session Bridge
Clients who arrive prepared, and remember what happened
Two free tools worth recommending to every client. Session Prep is a five minute guided review before the appointment: the week's headlines, mood and sleep at a glance, how homework went, the thing they almost don't bring up, and an opening line, condensed into a one-page brief they can glance at in your waiting room or send ahead. Session Debrief is two minutes after the appointment: what landed, what they agreed to practice, and one sentence to carry into the week, captured before the parking lot erases it.
Like everything here there are no accounts and nothing is transmitted, so recommending it raises no PHI questions: the brief lives in the client's browser and in files they choose to share. The practical effect is simple: the fifteen minute warm-up compresses to about two, and last session's insight actually survives until this one.
Therapy Session Bridge (for before and after)Clinical decision support
Your session, understood. Not just transcribed.
OmniPsyche Health is decision support software built for licensed counselors. It helps with the work around the work, so your attention stays on the client.
- Documentation drafts. Notes drafted in DAP, SOAP, or BIRP. You review, edit, and sign before anything enters the record.
- Seven-framework analysis. Sessions examined through CBT, DBT, IFS, EMDR, choice theory, existential, and health lenses, with weak claims challenged and revised before they reach you.
- De-identified by design. Session content is automatically scrubbed of personally identifying information before analysis; the analyzing agents never see who your client is.
- Continuity between sessions. Open threads, goals, and assigned homework surface automatically at the next session, so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Clinician coaching. Weekly guidance drawn from moments in your actual caseload, focused on your growth edges.
You remain the authority on every decision. Beta Version. Pricing is being finalized. Click the link to learn more and request a free trial.

Therapy homework and session software, answered
How do I assign therapy homework to my clients?
Send a link to any exercise in the free homework library, or build a multi-item plan with the plan builder (one link or QR handout). No login on either side. When they finish, they can send you a progress checklist from the plan page and full answers with Send to therapist or Download your copy on each exercise. You cannot see their progress by opening the same link on your own device.
Can I check a client’s homework progress without an account?
Not remotely in real time. Answers and checkmarks stay on their device only. Ask them to use Send progress checklist on their plan and Send to therapist (or download) on finished exercises, or to bring files to session. That keeps consent clear and PHI off our servers.
How can I help clients arrive prepared and remember sessions?
Recommend the free Session Bridge: a five minute pre-session prep that turns the client's week into a one-page brief (including the thing they almost don't bring up and an opening line), and a two minute post-session debrief that captures what landed and what they agreed to practice. Nothing is transmitted or stored on a server, so there are no PHI concerns; clients simply arrive warmed up and keep more of the work.
Is there free therapy homework I can assign between sessions?
Yes. Every exercise is free, interactive, and guided step by step: CBT thought records, behavioral activation, worry postponement, choice theory work, assessments, and more. Client answers never touch a server, and every exercise has a printable PDF for clients who prefer paper.
What software helps with therapy session notes and documentation?
OmniPsyche Health drafts progress notes in DAP, SOAP, or BIRP format for your review and signature, analyzes each session through seven clinical frameworks, and surfaces open threads, goals, and assigned homework at the next session. Beta, with a free trial.
Is client information safe with session analysis software?
OmniPsyche Health de-identifies by design: session content is automatically scrubbed of personally identifying information before analysis, so the analyzing systems never see who your client is. You remain the authority on every decision, and nothing enters the record without your review and signature.
Does it work with my modality?
The homework library spans CBT, choice theory and reality therapy, behavioral activation, values and meaning work, emotion literacy, and recovery tools. OmniPsyche Health analyzes through seven lenses (CBT, DBT, IFS, EMDR, choice theory, existential, and health factors), so it complements your orientation rather than replacing it.
OmniPsyche.org is free mental health education built by Michael C. Shedrick, M.S., PLPC, NCC, a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (supervised by Pete Cooper, Ph.D., LPC-S). The homework exercises are educational tools for clients to complete and bring to their treatment provider; they are not therapy and collect no client data.
